Ayat Daily ("we", "our", or "us") is a Quran reading app developed
by Aqsa Syed. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This
policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your
rights.
Data We Collect

Account Information — When you sign in with
Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address to create
your account.

User ID — A unique identifier generated by
Firebase, used to save your reading progress and streak.

Reading Progress — The Surahs and Ayahs you have
completed, stored in Firebase Firestore.

Language Preference — Your chosen interface and
translation language, stored locally on your device.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos, or camera data
- Browsing history or usage tracking across other apps
- Advertising identifiers or third-party analytics
- Financial or payment information
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the core features of the app:
- Signing you in and keeping your session active
- Syncing your reading progress and streak across devices
- Displaying today's verse in the home screen widget
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with
third parties for marketing purposes.

Quran Foundation API — Provides Quranic content.
Only the requested chapter and verse numbers are sent; no personal
data is transmitted.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your account data is retained for as long as you use the app. To
delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at
the email below and we will process your request within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Ayat Daily does not knowingly collect personal information from
children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with
personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at
the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the
updated policy.
